The movie starts with the protagonist, a man named Armin Salem (Rajeev Khandelwal),[10] recovering in the hospital after a car accident and is diagnosed as suffering from retrograde amnesia. There are only a few things that he remembers - his name, that he is originally from Paris and furthermore that he might have committed the murder of a woman named Rhea Wagner (Gemma Atkinson). He wants to know who he really is and he keeps repeating the same question to different characters. The answers are finally revealed.[10]

He starts getting flashbacks and remembers the identity of a woman identifying herself as Kavya (Gauhar Khan) who keeps reappearing in his hallucinations along with Rhea. She then starts stalking him. Kavya’s role in Armin’s life is quite hazy but eventually the truth is revealed as to why she is too close to Armin.[11][12] Things become interesting when Armin meets Rhea, and remembers that he is Karan who is a writer and all the clips that he sees are the hidden shades of the writer himself. After losing the memory of Karan, the writer, he adopted the memory of Armin who used to work as a contract killer in his book. He is shown to be very smooth with the ladies and is also very quick with a gun.[11]

He also finds out that the woman named Kavya is none other than his wife Pooja. When Pooja finds out that Karan has lost his memory, she introduces herself with a fake identity to regain her husband as they were going through a rough patch in their marriage. She ends up killing a woman named Grace Soni (Ankita Makwana), who is revealed to be Karan’s girlfriend. She then manipulates him into thinking that someone is trying to trap him and that she will help him in every way possible. Finally, Pooja's motive is revealed when she helps Armin dump the dead body of Grace and flee from the scene. Pooja admits that it was the fever of her inner rage that gave her the courage to love someone despite not being loved back

With a run time clocking in at over three hours, it might be easier to explain what doesn't happen in Avengers: Endgame instead of what does. For instance, fans don't get bored. Fans don't get up to use the bathroom. And fans don't ever want it to end. But it did end and we're here to explain what that ending was all about. Here's the ending of Avengers: Endgame explained...with lots of spoilers ahead.

After returning from their various missions to different past moments from the history of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, the Avengers grouped back up with the six infinity stones in tow. But Black Widow was missing, as she sacrificed herself to retrieve the Soul Stone. It all goes down in a scene that mirrored the death of Gamora in Avengers: Infinity War.

The new and improved Professor Hulk who has the combined might of the Hulk with the intellect of Bruce Banner used the recreated Infinity Gauntlet to reverse Thanos' snap, bringing back all the people who were erased from existence in Avengers: Infinity War. But though he tried, it couldn't return Natasha to life.

It may seem weird that a guy with an all-powerful wishing glove still couldn't undo this one major death. But Black Widow's absence at the end of the film proves that the Infinity Stones aren't quite as infinite as their name would suggest. Of course, that doesn't mean our heroes can't find a way to pluck her out of the past and send her back to the future.

Okay, so here’s where things get weird.

On their trip back to 2014 to get the Power Stone seen in the beginning of Guardians of the Galaxy our timeline's Nebula was captured by Thanos, who secretly replaced her with the evil 2014 version of Nebula.

Having infiltrated the Avengers headquarters, evil Nebula then summoned 2014 Thanos and his armies using the time machine. They blew everything up, with evil Nebula getting ahold of the new Infinity Gauntlet in a callback to the original comics.

But then the good Nebula from the real timeline shot her younger evil self stone dead. Luckily, this didn't affect the good Nebula at all. So what does that mean? It proves our heroes' pasts can't be changed and that alternate universes are probably something the MCU is going to need to sort out in Phase 4.

With the Infinity Gauntlet once again in play, the Avengers fought Thanos to a standstill, including an absolutely epic sequence where Captain America gained the powers of Thor by wielding the mystic hammer Mjonir [MYOL-neer] to deliver a massive whooping, something which was first teased way back in Avengers: Age of Ultron.

Still, Thanos eventually called in the cavalry by which we mean the intergalactic horde of creeps we saw back in Avengers: Infinity War.

Luckily, the Hulk's reverse snap had also restored all the dusted heroes from Avengers: Infinity War. Just as Captain America was about to face the armies of Thanos alone again echoing a classic moment from the comics all the dead heroes arrived via Doctor Strange's magic portals in a scene reminiscent of the end of Ready Player One. Only… better.

Plus, the arrival of all the heroes allowed Captain America to finally deliver the team’s signature catchphrase from the comics, "Avengers Assemble!," something fans have been waiting for for the last decade, especially after Marvel did a fakeout tease at the end of Age of Ultron.

In the end, you knew it had to come down to Tony Stark versus Thanos for the fate of the universe. After all, the showdown had been teased way back in Avengers: Age of Ultron.

And luckily, Tony was clued in to his big chance because Doctor Strange was there to give him the finger. No, not that finger just an index finger to note that this was the one chance in 14 million for victory that he had foreseen in Avengers: Infinity War. For all the answers we got at the end of Endgame, there are still a few nagging questions that weren't entirely summed up by the time those credits rolled. Some of these questions go back multiple films in the franchise, while others were introduced in Endgame and then seemingly abandoned. What are we talking about? Snap on your spoiler gloves, because we're digging deep to find all the unanswered questions from Avengers: Endgame.

Once again, to be clear: Spoilers ahead!

There was a lot of mantle passing in the closing moments of Endgame, much of it in heartwarming fashion. Old Man Cap passing his shield on to Falcon? It doesn't get much better than that. We've got a more grown-up Cassie Lang in the picture, and Clint hit a bullseye with his daughter. But what about Iron Man? Who's set to replace him?

The obvious choice is, of course, little Morgan Stark. Her father even died in a battle with an intergalactic wacko. Stuff that in a box and label it "Origin Story." But if that's the timeline the MCU is taking, it raises the question: When is the next time we'll see a version of Iron Man on the big screen? Morgan's, what, four years old? Less than five for sure, because of the snappenings. By the time she's old enough to strap on some nanites, the rest of the Avengers will be hanging up their own suits.

Everyone knows that, here at CBR, we’ve been making predictions about Avengers: Endgame since...well, since the second we finished watching Avengers: Infinity War, but we don’t mind admitting that there were a few moments that took us by surprise. Everyone knew that Captain Marvel was a bit of a wild card going into the movie, but there’s one aspect of Carol Danvers we weren’t quite expecting. Sure, we had guessed the movie would involve the Quantum Realm and time travel, but we definitely weren’t ready to see Tony Stark and Scott Lang bungle their interaction with Loki so badly!

And when it comes to the Mad Titan Thanos, he’s known for surprising us, but we did find his fate, or should we say fates, pretty shocking. We knew someone was going to meet their end on Vormir in order to retrieve the Soul Stone, but we definitely didn’t expect to see this particular character meet their end. There were many of us who suspected Steve Rogers wouldn’t make it through to Phase Four, but we were still surprised to see who became the new Captain America.

There’ve always been tons of fan theories circulating throughout the Marvel Cinematic Universe, but it seems like few movies generated as many as Avengers: Infinity War.
